Now you can get Google on your mobile phone. Google Local shows you how to get to where you want to go and will also show you what’s there e.g. cinemas, restaurants. The service is free but is currently only available in the US.

Google Local is great! Only in the U.S. huh? You are really missing out. The only bad thing is that you generally need to know which zip code you are currently in, or else you’ll be directed to a pizza place miles away. You can send google a text that says Pizza 10021 and it will give you the address and the phone number of the nearest pizza place. I think it also tells you how many miles from 10021 it is. In New York..that’s usually only about .01 miles!
